He was predeceased by: his parents, George E Butts and Ruby L Butts. He is survived by: his siblings, Deloris Harbin, Jessie Mae Smith, George Edward Lewis Sr. and Thomas Maurice Lewis; his son Antonio Holmes; his wife Gloria Lewis-Holmes of Edenton, NC; and his children, Gloria Ronette Holmes of Newport News, VA, Andre Holmes of Arizona and NJ. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
