She is survived by: her children, Douglas Ward of Chesapeake, VA, Michael Ward of Chesapeake, VA and Rita Francis (Bill) of Chesapeake, VA; her granddaughter Rachel Costanza (Peter) of Chesapeake, VA; and her great grandchildren, Owen, Siena, Roslyn and Truett.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Happy Home Baptist Church Cemetery (2670 Happy Home Rd, Nakina, NC 28455).
