He is survived by: his wife Tammy Blackman Owens; his children, Dr. Russell Glenn Owens, III (Robyn) and Jennifer Kay Christie (Ron); his stepson J. Haden Deibler (Tina); his grandchildren, Taylor, Elizabeth, Andrew, Zoe and Penelope; his brother George Bennett Owens; and his cousins, Ellen Eure, Margaret Smith and Frank Owens. He is also survived by many other extended family members and close friends.
