She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Rudolph Cheek and Beatrice Nixon Cheek; and her siblings, Katherine W. Brown and Charles Cheek. She is survived by: her husband Albert M. Boyd Jr.; her sons, Brent M. Boyd (Leigh) of Columbia and Michael Eric Boyd (Amy) of Chesapeake; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Catherine, Henry and Jackson.
