She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dozier and Madge Pendegraph Dozier; and her husband Donald Johnson. She is survived by: her sister Dorothy Dozier; her half-brothers, Melvin Dozier and John Pendergraph; her grandparents, Wallace, Mary Dozier and Lilly Mae Pendergraph; her children, Randy Reed, Wendy Arthur, David Putt, Jr. (Kim) and Jennifer Frear (Dan); her adoptive children, Dorothy Kidwell (J. D.), Linda McWilliams (Bradley), Patricia Mason (Ian) and Timothy Putt (Ashley); her siblings, Deborah Gurkins (John) and Scott Dozier (Jeannie); her nibling Cindianna Dozier; and her half-sister Patricia Scott. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Graham Funeral Home (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Riverside Memorial Park (1000 E Indian River Rd, Norfolk, VA 23523). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
