It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelby Day (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Everetts, North Carolina, who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie B. Stalls and Neva Gray Stalls; and her sister Shirley Rasmussen Strickland. She is survived by: her husband Robert C. "Bobby" Day; her sons, Jayson "Jay" C. Day (Angela) of Chesapeake, VA, Sean S. Day (Kim) of Chesapeake, VA and Joseph L. "Joey" Day (Vicky) of Chesapeake, VA; her grandchildren, Robbie, Lauren, Stephen (Tiffany), Adam and Jordan; and her great grandchild Zoey.

Memorial donations may be made to Raleigh Heights Baptist Church.
