She was predeceased by: her parents, Walton G. Edwards and Wilma Buchanan Edwards; her husband Charles W. Everett; and her sister Carol E. Harvey. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl E. Wilhelm (Bob) and James A. Everett; her granddaughter Meredith Jones (Noah); her great grandchild Lily Faye Jones of Chesapeake; her sister Patricia E. Buchanan of Highlands, NC; and also Rev. Shannon Terhune. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Contributions may be made to her church, Raleigh Heights Baptist Church, 1000 Crowell Ave. Chesapeake, VA 23324.
