She was predeceased by: her parents, Gheorghe Gherasim and Paraschiva Crivat Gherasim; and her husband John Zaharia. She is survived by: her children, Florentina Blanchard Stepps (Travis Stepps), George Zaharia (Cecilia Zaharia) and Stefan Zaharia (Kirsten Rilpley); and her grandchildren, Ion Doandes, Daniel Doandes, Garret Blanchard, Ian Blanchard, Hannah Zaharia and Caleb Zaharia.
