She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Thomas Hood Sr.; her children, Thomas Hood Jr. (Kesha), Matt Hood (Cristina), Melissa Ewell and Donald Hood (Jovita); her grandchildren, Ashlee, Kayla, Leilani, Kylie, Lindsee, Cairy, Jason and James; her great grandchildren, Jayce and Oaklee Hunter; her mother Lou Slack; and her sisters, Donna Fail and Gena Maxwell. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Graham Funeral Home and Crematory (1112 Kempsville Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23320).
