It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Terry Joseph Orvis of Chesapeake, Virginia, born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Jaqueline Orvis; his children, Michael Orvis (Sandra) and Lori Curvan (Michael); his grandchildren, Johnathan Orvis, Lauren Curvan and Gabriel Olive; and his brother William "Bill" Orvis (Helen).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ivy League Christian Academy, an organization Terry strongly and passionately supported.
