It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Darden Sr. (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Pendleton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his aunt Lillie Ann Parker; and his siblings, Shirleen Daniels and Luceda Parker. He is survived by: his children, Patricia E. Darden, Phillistine Howard, Thomasine Darden, Thomas Darden, Jr. (Judy Theus) and Kimberly Opasina (Omololu); and his siblings, James Parker, Jr. (Ella), Jesse Parker (Carol), Shirley Parker, Sheila Motley, Rocky Rawles (Ron), Annie Mae Maddrick (Robert), Albert Parker, Willie Paul Parker (Alice) and Johnnie Lee Parker. He is also survived by ses 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
