With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas E. Myers of Chesapeake, Virginia, born in Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on February 18, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon "Monk" Myers and Norah Catherine Myers; and his brother John Joseph Myers. He is survived by: his wife Rita Bass Myers; his children, Thomas Anthony "Tony" Myers of Washington, DC and Kelly Ann Guyot (Charles "Buzz") of Portsmouth, VA; his grandchildren, Nicholas Bailey (Meagan) and Rachel Turner (Wilson); his stepgrandchildren, Ashley Guyot and Amanda Chappelle; his great grandchildren, Violet Bailey, Nora Turner, Matthew Bailey and Jameson Luck; and his siblings, James Myers of Suffolk, VA and Cathy Jarman of Winterville, NC..
