It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Fredrick Christenson of Chesapeake, Virginia, who passed away on October 5, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Clay and Mary Johns Christenson; and his grandchildren, Christopher Stuart and K. C. Christenson (Kristina). He is survived by: his wife Betty Christenson; his children, Tom Christenson (Sandra Christenson) and Deborah Stuart; his grandchildren, Kathryn Stuart, Ashley Elliott (Jonathan Pala), Nick Stuart (Phuong Ninh), Shelby (Paul Pope), Danny Stuart (Demi) and Aaron Massey; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas Brown, Noah DeJesus, Kayla Jones-Stuart, Benjamin DeJesus, Sylvia Wiley and Gwendolyn "Gwennie" Pope.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Fred's name to the American Heart Association.
