He is survived by: his mother Etsuko Rose of Otway, NC; his wife Kathy Russell; his sisters, Maria of Straits, NC and Lea Sleight Renot of Long Beach, MS; his uncle Tommie Rose "Buster" of Otway, NC; his aunt Debbie Rose of Harkers Island, NC; his wife's children, Josh, Madi, Grace and Jay; his nephew Corporal Shaun Renot; his cousins, Hope, Alex, Jamie, Michelle, Walt Jr., Derek (Kaitlyn), Heidi and Katlin; his stepmother Janet Box; and his close friend Austin (Nicole Moore).
