Barton (Chesapeake, Virginia), born in Thomasville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Barton and Sadie Barton. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Barton; his siblings, Leon, Shirley, Jane and Rufus; his children, Cassy Peffley, Kenneth, Sandra Barton and Chris Brewer; his grandchildren, James, Heather Peffley, Alex, Beth Peffley, Allison, Nathan Byrd, Delaney and Connor Miller; his great grandchildren, Lyla Peffley, JJ Peffley and Tanner Peffley; and his brother Billy (Nancy Barton). He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and grandnieces.
