He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Coffey; his daughter Tiffany Coffey; his grandson Jace Coffey-Williams; his brother Gus Horton (Bell) of Chattanooga, TN; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Mitchell, Ronald Ward, Patricia Mitchell, Sharon Mitchell, Donna Carrington, Joyceen Pamp and Darlene Randle. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
