He is survived by: his parents, Jesse Wayne Alford and Florence Caulder Sweat; his wife Heidi Alford of Virginia; his children, Christopher Alford of Florida, Timothy Alford of Florida and Chasity Alford of Virginia; his sister Sara Southwell of Dillon; and his nieces, Haylee Byrd and Samantha Southwell. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
