Vanette Schultz Forbes Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on May 30, 2022, at the age of 96, Vanette Schultz Forbes of Chesapeake, Virginia, born in Des Plaines, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Schultz and Lena Winkelmann Forbes; her stepmother Thora Schultz; her husband William Lee Forbes; her siblings, Dorothy Schultz, Laurie Rorabaugh (Jim), Gerrie Parsons (Tom) and William Schultz; and her granddaughter Sarah E. St. John.
She is survived by: her daughter Beth St. John (Mike); her brother John Schultz (Lynn); her cousins, Marvin Winkelmann (Madeleine) and Gary Winkelmann; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Schultz. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made online to the Vanette S. Forbes Memorial Fund, for the benefit of the Vanette S. Forbes Scholarship at The Medical University of South Carolina.
