He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon D. Divers and Maria Rountrey Divers. He is survived by : his wife Diane J. Divers; and his children, Kimberly T. Henderson (Thomas), Vernon R. Divers, Jr. (Mary) and Christopher B. Divers (Nicole). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
