He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Walter and Edith Louise Chaplin Miller; and his sisters, Betty Jean Gibbs Boyd, Shirley Brickhouse and Mary Ellen Powers.
He is survived by: his sisters, Amandia Ferebee and Judy Sharber; his children, Tammy Johnson (Gregg), Walter Miller Junior (Tammy) and Gibbs Woods; and his grandchildren, Coleton and Chloe. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Chesapeake Chapel (929 S Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA 23322).
