He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Bobby" Lane Bobbitt of Chesapeake; his daughter Amy Bobbitt Mercer (Scott) of Java; and his sisters, Jean B. Turmel of Chesapeake, Edna C. Bobbitt of Centennial and Carolyn B. Johnson (Johnny) of Richmond. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
