It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Edward Ivey Jr. (Chesapeake, Virginia), who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Ivey and Selma Ivey; and his grandchildren, Jessica A. Sykes and Jonathan P. Blair. He is survived by: his children, Eddie Ivey (Sharon), Becky Phillips (Jay), Linda Murphy (Bert), Shirley Ivey and Rick Ivey; his brother Oscar E. Ivey (Buddy); and his pet Sassy. He is also survived by numerous extended family members, dear friends.
