With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rachel Lourener Williams of Chester Gap, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rachel shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rachel farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elias Wines and Mamie Catherine Henry Wines; her husband Bobby Lee Williams; and her granddaughter Kimberly Dawn Williams. She is survived by: her sons, Big Mikey Williams (Theresa) of Chester Gap and Tony Williams of Chester Gap; and her siblings, Ray Wines of Orange, Virginia, Virgie Ubben of Chester Gap and May Oliver of West Virginia. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Maddox Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Front Royal, VA 22630). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
