He was predeceased by : his son Augustus Harper. He is survived by : his wife Mary E. Mosley; his children, Angelia A. Cary (Carlon), James L. (Christina), Alvin S. (Shaneen), Darryl L. Mosley (Sonja), Craig Morris and J. Lynn Forbes; and his sisters, Joy Arrington and Joan Mosley. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
