We are sad to announce that, on July 20, 2025, at the age of 65, Deacon Charles B. B. Geter Jr. of Chester, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Deacon Charles Geter, Sr. and Ernestine Boothe Geter; his siblings, Karen M. Geter and Dwayne M. Geter (Velma); his children, Chrystal Michelle Geter, Christopher Michael Geter and Coury Maurice Geter, Sr.; his significant other Barbara Taylor Geter; and his grandchildren, Coury "CJ" Geter, Amia Geter and Ava Muldrow. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, other relatives and friends.
During the pandemic, Deacon Geter showed unwavering commitment by preparing the church sanctuary for worship each week, cleaning and sanitizing until his health would no longer allow.
