He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Moses Hancock and George L. Hancock, Sr.; his wife Florence Pergerson Hancock; and his siblings, Betty Friend, Dorothy Hancock and John Henry Hancock.
He is survived by: his sister Julia Harris; his son Charles; his daughter-in-law Theresa Pergerson; his grandchildren, Jessica Pergerson (Khuldiph), Jennifer Pergerson Francis (Tex Francis) and Charles Bradley Pergerson; and his great grandchildren, Jayden Pergerson, Teyrone Khuldiph, Kamya Khuldiph, Jasiah Francis and Layla Francis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and dear friends.
