He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas M. Black and Mona S. Black. He is survived by: his wife Alease Palmore Black; his children, James Douglas Black and Patricia Alease Black; his granddaughter Samantha Alease Black; and his siblings, Ronald Black and Judy Roberts.
