He was predeceased by : his parents, John E. Slaughter, Sr. and June Horton Slaughter. He is survived by : his wife Debra A Slaughter; his children, John Slaughter III (Mika), Douglas Slaughter and Cindy Goshea (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Rachel Slaughter, Katie Slaughter, Maya Slaughter, Emma Slaughter and John Slaughter IV; and his sisters, Janet Donald (William) and Joanne Wilson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
