He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Vernice and Lula Mae Bourgeois Marshall; his wife Ruby Pearl Hanzel Marshall; his siblings, Harold Wayne "Sonny" Marshall and Delores Marshall Lebouff; and his brother-in-law Joseph Edward Hanzel.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Ellen Marshall Carabin (Troy); his grandsons, Caleb Hunter Marshall Carabin (Elizabeth Rose Ford) and Calvin Alexander Marshall Carabin (Hannah McKenzie Leavitt); his great grandchild Lincoln James Carabin; his siblings, James Kevin Marshall (Ellie Marshall) and Rita Faye Wright; his sister-in-law Lynda Hanzel; and his nieces and nephews, Malcolm Hanzel (Larra), Alvin Roberts (Patti), Mark Roberts (Shizue), Rebecca Hanzel Zielinski (Kris), Kristen Elaine Marshall, Emily Alexandra Marshall Johnson, Stephanie Grace Marshall, Emma Elaine Roberts and Julia Roberts.
