He was predeceased by: his parents, R. L. Clifton, Jr. and Mary Jo McLean Clifton. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his stepchildren, Eric Ball (Carrie), Ashley Brown (Jasen) and Sarah Rhea (Matt); and his brother Robert Clifton (Kim) of Danville. He is also survived by five grandchildren, one on the way, one great grandchild.
