Ruby Whirley Anderson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Whirley Anderson (Chester, Virginia), who passed away on December 8, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Whirley and Janie Whirley; her husband Charles B. Anderson; and her siblings, William "Ross" Whirley and Margaret Clary.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patsy Gwinn, Linda Hopkins and Nancy Anderson; her grandchildren, Charles Cates, Matthew Cates, Tiffanie Routhier (Justin), Christian Blank and Angelica Blank; and her sister Janie Ozmore.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834). A procession will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Will Leave the Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Southlawn Memorial Park (1911 Birdsong Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805).
