He is survived by: his wife Jane Ann Markins; his sister Patty Ives (Bill); his children, Regina Baldwin (Danny), Sharon Markins, Richard Markins and Brandon Markins (Kelsey); his daughters-in-law, Denise Markins and Amy Markins; and his grandchildren, Michael Markins (Tracy), Matthew Markins, Megan Biggs, Josh Markins (Morgan), David Markins (Lyndsie), Seth Markins, Chris Markins (Jessica), Gunner Markins and Lucas Biggs. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, Colonial Heights Chapel (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834).
