She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Edward Pettit Sr. and Frances Reeland Spencer Pettit. She is survived by: her brother Robert E. Pettit, Jr. (Frances); her nephews, Robert E. Pettit III of Harrisonburg, VA and Lee W. Pettit (Katina) of Stuart, VA.; her husband Thomas L. Skidmore; her son T. Neal; her daughter-in-law Elena Skidmore; her daughter Cynthia; her son-in-law Clay Blevins; her granddaughters, Lauren Skidmore Wright (Joshua), Reilly Blevins and Ashlinn Blevins; and her stepgrandson J. Matias Seibert.
