She is survived by: her husband Michael West of Chesterfield, Virginia; her mother Shirley Sparrow of Amherst, Virginia; her daughter Mariah West-Walkup; her son-in-law Jeremy Walkup of Chesterfield; her son Michael West Jr. (Ebony) of Chesterfield; her grandchildren, Olivia, Elijah and Ava Walkup; her siblings, Tracy Hamm of Gladstone, Virginia and Jack Franklin III of Monroe, Virginia; her aunts, Janice Sparrow of Amherst, Andrea Mays of Madison Heights, Virginia and Crystal Franklin of Madison Heights, Virginia; her uncle Malcolm Rucker of Amherst, Virginia; and her siblings-in-law, Eric West, Roxanna West of Fairfax, Virginia and Carrie Franklin of Monroe. She is also survived by husband, children, grandchildren, extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Union Hill Baptist Church (11519 River Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23838).
