She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin E "Pat" Floyd; her brother James Petterson (Nancy); and her parents, Cecil E Peterson and Avis Tetter Peterson. She is survived by: her sons, Kevin L Floyd and Jeffery K Floyd; her daughters-in-law, Sandy, Patti and Sherrie Floyd; her grandchildren, Kristie Perkinson Jeffery (Rodger II), Floyd Jr., Erin Floyd, Bryan Floyd (Elizabeth), Morgan Winfield (Harris) and Kyle Floyd; and her great grandchildren, Tre, Lance Perkinson, Zoey Floyd, Elly and Sutton Winfield.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hollywood Cemetery (412 S Cherry St, Richmond, VA 23220).
