She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignacio Chavez-Aragon and Luz Estrada of Chavez; her husband Maclovio Ruiz Gallegos; her son Maclovio Chavez-Ruiz; and her granddaughter Beatriz Aurora Murphy (Ruiz).
She is survived by: her children, Belisario Ruiz, Rosalba Bustillos (Ruiz), Jose Ruiz, Delia Ruiz, Omar Ruiz and Magda Ruiz. She is also survived by many grand-children and great-grandchildren.
