She was predeceased by: her son Bobby Gene Overman; her husband John Irving Bean; and her sisters, Erika Bohannon and Helga Anna Fehrmann. She is survived by: her son John V. Bean (Paula); her grandchildren, Andrew (Julia), Nicholas and Davis Bean; and her great grandchild Benjamin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other loving family members.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bliley's-Chippenham (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
