He is survived by: his wife Judy Bender; his children, Mark (Suzanne), Adam (Anna) and Rachel (Kyle); his grandchildren, Reagan, Ella, Charlie, Aiden and Noah; and his siblings, Mary, Bob and Rick.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the ALS Association or St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church Human Concerns Fund.

“Chuck was a man who was the most generous person we ever met. There was no one he would not help. He was our dearest friend for over 50 years, and not once did he ever appear down, he was always positive and supportive. Along with Judy, they supported many people and especially the Catholic church and community activities. We will sorely miss him but are glad that he has been released to move to a heavenly life.
