He was predeceased by: his father Sam Ken; his son Keo Sam (Soeurn Uy); and his grandson Veasna So. He is survived by: his children, Soeurth Riel (Noeuth), Vannak So (Mon), Sopheak Ky (Koung), Sophia Kim (Robert), Savoeurn Samantha Oeur (Tha Som), Savong Hem (Hoeurn), Racin Sam, Kevin Chea and Kashi Chea; his grandchildren, Nixon Riel, Charley Ky, Vannara So, Somaly Bustillo, Jonathan Kim, Monith So, Brandon Riel, Nicholas Oeur, Regina Kim, Mason Oeur, Alana Hem and Ayden Hem; his great grandchildren, Davi Luca Bustillo and Mia Belle Bustillo; and his siblings, Cheung Ken, Long Ken, Phoeung Ken, Kon Ken, Sok Sam and Hun Ken.
