Deane Crowell Nolde Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deane Crowell Nolde of Chesterfield, Virginia, born in Stamford, Connecticut, who passed away on May 14, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Buchanan Crowell and Robert Edward Crowell, Sr. (Deane). She is survived by: her husband George Frederick Nolde III; her sons, Paul Nolde (Tatum) of Richmond and Frederick Nolde (Courtney) of Charlottesville; her grandchildren, Connor, Hayes, James, Anna and Charlotte Nolde; her brother Robert E. Crowell, Jr. (Stacy); her nieces and nephews, Riley and Sam Crowell; her sister Sandra C. Messer (Rick); and her nieces and nephews, Michael (Fallon), Sarah, Ben and Bailey Messer. She is also survived by many loving family members and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Deane's memory to Trinity Lutheran Church in Richmond, Virginia or to the Alzheimer's Association.
