She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sprouse and Ada Sprouse of Louisa, VA.; and her husband Edward Wayland Harris. She is survived by: her son Larry Edward Harris; and her grandchildren, Katie (Adam Reza), Tyler and Michael. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service (6500 Iron Bridge Rd, Richmond, VA 23234). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. In order to protect the vulnerable and high-risk members of the community, it is highly recommended that face masks be worn.
