She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Walthall and Ella Rose Henretta Walthall; her husband Robert M. Hazelwood; and her sister Alice Crews. She is survived by : her daughter Sandra Elliott (Brian); her nephew Shane Crews; and her great-niece Ava Raics.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Swift Creek Baptist Church or Richmond Animal League.
