He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Flippen and Pearl Flippen; his former wife Gloria Flippen; his son Daniel Flippen; and his granddaughter Tami Flippen Woodfin.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Flippen; his children, Kenneth Flippen, Linda Flippen Powell and Brenda Flippen Fisher (Jeffrey); and his stepdaughters, Debra Glenn and Linda Huffine (Mark). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 4 siblings; and a host of friends.
