She was predeceased by: her parents, Marguerite Bendall and Otis Winn, Sr.; her husband Mike Abernathy; and her brother Waverly Winn. She is survived by: her daughters, Sonja Hodge and Shannon Abernathy; her grandchild Jaden Beninghove; her sister Jane Snellings; her close friend Debi Jackson; and her caregiver Andrea Wester. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
