He was predeceased by : his parents, James Devon Crenshaw, Sr. and Eunice Erskine Stigall; and his siblings, James D, George T, William F, Deane Crenshaw, E. Marguerite Royster and Elizabeth A Stephens.

He is survived by : his wife Nancy M Hardman; his children, Kenneth G Crenshaw (Kristen) of Charlotte, NC and Karen LC Eager (Josh) of Hanover, VA; and his grandson Austin T Pearce.
