He was predeceased by: his parents, Moncrieff Terrell and Meta Terrell of Chester, Virginia.; his wife Janet; his son Nelson; his grandson Lee; his siblings, Moncrieff Jr., Alan, Charles, Juanita, Mabel, Jacqueline and Doris; and his brother-in-law Bill Boykin.
He is survived by: his children, Steve (Kathy), Jimmy (Karen) and Susan; his grandchildren, Aubrey (Valerie), Casey (Allen), Autumn (Lawrence), Eli, Callie (Clint) and Sam; his sister-in-law Jean Boykin; and his caregivers, Joyce Hunter and Umekia Shearin. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Bliley's-Chippenham (6900 Hull St Rd, Richmond, VA 23224). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
