She was predeceased by: her parents, Mertle Morrissey and Micheal Morrissey. She is survived by: her son Kristopher Hare (Courtney); her grandsons, Kohen and Kamren Hare; her siblings, Michael Morrissey, James Morrissey, Donald Morrissey and Theresa Budney; and her pet Squirt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (14301 Ashbrook Pkwy, Chesterfield, VA 23832).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Peninsula Artillery in Kathleen's memory, honoring her love and dedication to Civil War reenactment.
