He was predeceased by : his parents, John W. Worthington and Bertha N. Worthington; his sister Jane W. Hughes; his daughter-in-law Stacey P. Worthington; and his grandson Nicholas "Cole" P. Worthington.

He is survived by : his wife Dianne Hamm Worthington; his sons, Kenneth A. Worthington Jr. (Kim), Steven M. Worthington (Susannah) and Brian T. Worthington (Stacey); his grandchildren, Conner Worthington (Elisa), Gavin Worthington, Andrew Worthington, Jason Worthington, Hannah Worthington, Evan Worthington and Nicholas Phillips; his great grandchild Cole; his sister Audrey W. Turnage; his niece Diane Turnage; and his nephew John Turnage. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church (1510 Courthouse Rd, North Chesterfield, VA 23236). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
