She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Bottoms and Lillian Bottoms; and her spouse Buckhanan Scott "Buck" Cubbage. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Scott Cubbage (Windy), Donna Cubbage Damarin (Larry) and Sherry Kay Cubbage; her grandchildren, Billy, Jason Cubbage, Shannon Marshall, Michelle Blair and Adam Cubbage; and her brother William Bottoms. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chesterfield Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home (14301 Ashbrook Pkwy, Chesterfield, VA 23832). A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Second Branch Baptist Church Cemetery (12217 2nd Branch Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23838).
