He was predeceased by: his mother Beverly Ann Mills (Bean) of Richmond, VA. He is survived by: his brother Jeffrey S. Lavender; his sister-in-law Marjorie Perez Medolphe; his nephew Kalem Lavender Perez of Tampa, FL.; and his wife Sherry Yorty of Chesterfield, VA.
